For our office directly at the IZB Campus in Munich/Martinsried we are looking for a master’s student (m/f/d) to pursue their thesis research at Insempra on the topic of media optimization for our fermentations using bioreactors. Does this sound like your next step?
Start date: March 2025. This is a job and project for 6-9 months.

For this position you will perform the following duties:
- Development of new optimal process (USP) for non-conventional yeast
- Run bioreactor fermentation experiments, analyze samples and interpret data.
- Documentation of experiments in the Electronic Lab Notebook
- Reporting and presenting the findings at internal meetings
Your profile:
- Currently enrolled at a university and pursuing a Master’s degree in biotechnology, or related field
- Experience in wet lab work, ideally with bioreactors
- Highly motivated, organized and structured work
- Interest in industrial biotechnology
